 Frederick (Mitchell), Judy. Â Born 3/24/47. Â Died 3/07/09. Â Judy (Frederick) Mitchell, 61, of Forest Lake, Minn., formerly of Duluth, died unexpectedly Saturday, March 7, at home. Judy was born to Melvin and Ann Frederick on March 24, 1947. After graduation from Denfeld in 1965, Judy proudly served in the United States Navy. She had made Minneapolis her home for many years. About 10 years ago, she moved to Forest Lake where she enjoyed volunteering and helping people in her community. Judy loved to cross-stitch, work crossword puzzles, play computer games, and loved cats. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Frederick; and her husband, Edward Mitchell. She is survived by her mother, Ann Frederick, of Duluth; a sister, Janet (Paul) Jarzynski, of Foxboro, Wis.; a brother, Jerry (Julie) Frederick of Esko, Minn.; three nephews, Jeffrey Nelson, of Eagan, Minn., and Scott and Kevin Frederick of Esko, Minn.
