Castonguay, Joanne Lynne.  Born 10/15/47.  Died 8/12/25.  
Joanne (Jo) transitioned with grace and in the loving care of her daughter at age 77. She resisted death until her final days, not wanting to leave her beloved grandchildren and new great grandson.

Jo worked as an LPN in dialysis care at St. Mary's Hospital for over 20 years. Once she moved from Duluth to Minneapolis, she found her passion in homecare. Her thoughtful and dignified care of others earned her constant praise from patients and coworkers. She loved movies, movie trivia, crafts, chocolate and whatever sport or activity her grandchildren participated in.

She became an avid bird enthusiast expanding beyond the great pink Flamingo that was always her signature favorite bird. She was a confidant to her daughter and trustworthy support to her family, always available for advice, laughter and hugs. She will be profoundly missed.

She leaves behind her devoted daughter Dana Castonguay ( Jim Sorensen), grandchildren Maranne Hull, Aaron Hull, Evan Hull (Tienne), Garrett Sorensen and precious great grandson Elias Hull (Evan and Tienne). Also, her siblings Pattie Castonguay, James (Bonnie) Castonguay and Mike (Terri) Castonguay.
