I ran across this interesting website a while back.  I also enjoyed the history and pictures of the school.

I read about Michael Fedo and his book 'The Lynchings in Duluth'.  I never heard about this before!  One of Duluth's little secrets!  I hear there is a memorial downtown.  I also found a website with more information if you are interested:

This is his wife and in browsing your site I noticed he was not mentioned.  After 4o some years in radio in Duluth I would think he deserved a line or two.  Thank you,  Yvonne Pavlich

Even though this website and the one with Famous Denfeld Alumni (Surfdetective.com) are registered with godaddy.com they are managed by different people.  The contact person for the Surfdective.com site is:

Mike Flaherty
P.O. Box 7237
Duluth, Minnesota 55807
Email: comments@surfdetective.com

I’m not sure what the process is for submission, but I would send him a Biography and a few pictures and see what he can do.

Hey Kathy--I have the paper back book by this title.  I couldn't believe it either.  But it IS true, and there are pictures in the book. If I think of it--read that REMEMBER--I'll bring it up next summer, and show it to you.  Ann
