 Stoneburner, Dale.  Born 1/5/47.  Died 9/16/09.  Dale J. 'Stoney' Stoneburner Sr., 62, passed away peacefully Wednesday Sept. 16, 2009 surrounded by family and friends after a valiant battle with cancer. He was born in Duluth Jan. 5, 1947 to Hartley and Clara (Halicki) Stoneburner. Dale graduated from Denfeld High School in 1965, and served in the Army from 1966–68 in Vietnam. He was a Carman on the DM&IR Railroad retiring in 1998. He is preceded in death by his parents. Stoney is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sue (Keuten); son, Dale Jr. 'Wally' (Kara) Stoneburner; two daughters, Jeannie (Joe Hinnenkamp) Stoneburner, Julie (Bill McLeod) Stenberg; grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremy, Christina, Tyler, Max, Justine, Jalie, Abby; two great-grandchildren Avrey and Madison; sister, Clarice (Duke) Hietala; aunt Irene Iaizzo, two uncles Dale and Ward Stoneburner; extended family and many friends.
