Toewe, Barbara Ann.  Born 7/1/47.  Died 8/28/89.
Barbara Ann Toewe, 42, N. 64th Ave. W., died Monday, Aug. 28, 1989, in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was a lifelong Duluth resident and was co-founder and vice president of finance for of Joanna Foods, where she worked for the past 5 years. She formerly had been a payroll supervisor for Jeno's. Miss Toewe was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, University of Minnesota-Duluth Alumni Association, and Beta Sigma Phi national sorority. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Jeanne and Glen Sams, of Duluth; two stepbrothers, Ray and Larry Sams, both of Duluth; three stepsisters, Doris Johnson of Duluth, Dorothy Lee of Proctor, and Cindy Eggleston of Westbrook, Maine; and a half-sister, JoAnne Cullen of Duluth.
