Score (Townley), Cheryl.  Born 4/23/47.  Died 12/23/01.  
Cheryl Lynn Townley, 54, of Silver Bay died in Lake View Memorial Hospital, Two Harbors. She was born in Duluth, where she grew up and graduated from Denfeld High School in 1965.  Cheryl married Dennis Townley in 1965 and they had made their home in Silver Bay since 1969. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, a former president of the VFW Auxiliary and a Cub Scout pack leader for many years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Cheryl was preceded in death by a sister, Joy High.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis; sons James (Glenda) of Chisholm and Doug (Nichel) of Duluth; a daughter, Denise Townley of Silver Bay; her parents, Joseph and Phyllis Score of Duluth; a brother, Mark Score of Duluth; sisters Jo Ann Carbaugh of Hermantown, Bonnie Crandall of Lake Elora and Penny (Bill) Usack of Proctor; and grandchildren Ashley, Thai, Brendan, Kate and Brett.
