Waller, Donald.  Born 11/29/47.  Died 6/29/22.   Don age 74 of Esko, MN passed away at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth. He was born in Duluth the son of Irvin and Dorothy (Kramer) Waller.

  Don graduated in 1965 from Denfeld High School. He served in the Army National Guards for six years after high school. Don then worked at Hart Motor Freight until they closed in 1980. During this time, he met and married Sherri Guindon and they celebrated 50 years this past May. Don became an insurance agent for MSI and later started Arrowhead Insurance Agency in Esko. He retired in June of 2021. Don enjoyed hunting and fishing and was very supportive of his family, friends, and community. He was a founding member of the Black Hats.

  Don was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Richard, Butch, and David; one sister, Marion; and Sherri’s parents, Wally and Elaine Guindon. He is survived by his wife, Sherri; two daughters, Amy (Jamie) Ninteman and Melissa (Dave Swede) Waller; one brother, Dennis (Kathy) Waller; two sisters, Patricia Stark and Barbara (Auggie) Berndt; sisters-in-law, Judy, Linda, and Bonnie (Tony Proft); six grandchildren, Alex, Morgan (Jake), Nick, Logan, Weston, and Alexis; three great-grandchildren, Blake, Ayden, and Mason; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
