Kreidler, Jack.  Born 5/20/47.  Died 8/18/15.

John 'Jack' Kreidler, 68, entered into eternal peace at his home in Roseville, Calif., on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015. Although he was taken too soon, so many wonderful memories will remain in our hearts and souls forever.

Jack was born on May 20, 1947 in Duluth, and has lived in Roseville, Calif., for the past 30 years. Shortly after moving to California and growing close to his wife's Greek relatives, he was given the nickname 'Kreidleropolis' a new name Jack embraced and really got a kick out of.

He attended Denfeld High School in Duluth and graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Jack was proud of where he grew up and returned often to visit family and friends. He loved his high school and college years and spoke of them often.

Sports played a major role throughout Jack's entire life. He excelled at football, baseball, hockey, racquetball and golf. In 1964 Jack was part of Duluth's 'All City Football Team' and went on to be awarded the 'Walt Hunting Award' for being the best all around athlete in 1965. After college he continued to play semi-pro hockey for a short time, baseball and touch Football for the Twins Bar for 11 years. In his later years, Jack decided golf would be his game of choice and was a member of the Northern California Golf Association for many years.

In addition to sports, he was an avid outdoorsman. He returned to Northern Ontario yearly to spend time fishing with his father-in-law, son-in-law, brothers, nephews, brother-in-law, cousin and friends. He was a boy at heart that truly enjoyed these voyages.

Jack retired from the AAA Insurance Company at 62 and was able to spend time traveling to many places within the United States, Canada and Europe with his wife Debbie. Jack and Deb were soul mates that really made the most of their time together and shared so many wonderful memories. He always said 'retirement was the best job I've ever had!'

He was a proud veteran that served his country for 23 years before retiring from the United States Air Force Reserve in 1993.

Jack was a true family man that loved spending time entertaining and most of all grilling up something special. Cooking was a passion of Jack's that we all looked forward to!

Everyone loved Jack's kindness, great sense of humor, enthusiasm, integrity and let's not forget his competitiveness! So many great Jack stories will live on forever, as he was one of a kind that will be sorely missed by all.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents John Sr., and Doris Irene Kreidler and his sister Barbara Kreidler.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years Debbie (Pavlatos) Kreidler; daughter Jessica (Steven) Crain; daughter Angela Kreidler-Nuno; grandchildren Adriana Camarena Crain and Jon Crain; sister Colleen Young; sister Mary (Richard) Eischens; sister Peggy (Larry) Nelson; brother Michael (Lynette) Kreidler; brother Patrick (Kristy) Kreidler; brother-in-law Thomas (Janis) Pavlatos and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A private family memorial service will be held in California.

Please make donations in Jack's memory to the American Heart Association.
